However, the same things that brought me to engineering and science drew me to Graphic Design: The desire to create things that are useful and inventive, to solve problems, and to make things easier, or better, or make more sense, even if it’s just for one person. I love designing beautiful things, but I wouldn’t be happy doing that alone, I want to create things that make the world better, whether that’s simply bringing joy into someone’s live, or applying design principals to information and technology so that it’s easier to grasp.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row type=”full_width_content” bg_position=”left top” bg_repeat=”no-repeat” scene_position=”center” text_color=”dark” text_align=”left”][vc_column width=”1/1″ animation=”none” column_padding=”no-extra-padding” column_padding_position=”all” background_color_opacity=”1″]

"(Kamilah) was brought on to help design our interview series but we quickly realized she had much more to offer. Her eagerness to jump into design projects and willingness to help where needed made her a huge asset to the team. And thanks to Kamilah’s creative thinking and love for keeping organized, she single-handed re-organized our entire Dropbox and archive system — something we are still using today! I look forward to working with Kamilah again and would highly recommend her to someone looking for fresh talent."
− Rachel Ma, Art Director at The Blueprint
"I've hired Kamilah for three projects to date, and each time I had an incredible experience working with her and received amazing results. Kamilah is efficient, creative and committed to delivering quality work. I recommend you get in touch with her as soon as possible as this gal is in demand! "
− Gwen Elliot, Mediapreneur
"Kamilah is not one to shy away from tough problems or working hard - she sees things challenges as a chance to use her intellect and creativity in tandem. She will be the one who will look at those huge societal issues like poverty or climate change and find new ways to work on them. She has always had an ability to recognize working on something now will pay off in the long term. It is very unique to work with someone who has such a creative way of looking at things and yet also has attention to detail – it is an incredible combo!"
− Dana Osiowy, Youth Liaison at Columbia Basin Trust
