This piece was created for one of my first year Communication Design classes at Ontario College of Art and Design. The assignment was to combine imagery with a single word in order to communicate a current social issue. I focused on the unrealistic standards set for women and the resulting toxic relationships with food, and self image. The face in the mirror/plate, itself, was collaged out of pieces of the faces of celebrities and models.
